CEO and Owner
Dr. Chenavis Evans, Ph.D. is the CEO and Owner of Critical Insights Consulting, LLC. In 2006, she was recognized as one of Auburn University’s distinguished Alumni. Dr. Evans holds four Degrees from Auburn University: Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Organizational Psychology as well as a Master of Science. A Masters of Education in Counseling and Counseling Psychology, specialization in College Student Development and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology. During her academic career, she taught several courses in psychology as well as quantitative methods. She also worked closely with students at a local community college in remedial english and math in preparation for college.
Dr. Evans has over 25 years in Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Organizational Re-engineering and Strategy in corporate America both domestically and internationally (Sanya, China; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Nicossia, Italy; York, England; Mexico, Cyprus, South Africa, etc.). Her work includes the creation of multiple business models end to end to help transform organizations in one of the world’s largest fortune payment processing companies where she is recognized as a Change Agent. She was instrumental in the design and development of Fortune 500 Companies Leadership Institute, Talent Management (Assessment and Development), and Diversity and Inclusion programs as well as Performance Management Business Models models which were competency based.
During her Tenure at TSYS, Dr. Evans established TSYS First Distinguished Professorship in partnership with Auburn University’s College of Engineering in data mining –behavioral modeling. In addition, she partnered with Morehouse Human Centered Computing Lab to establish a business model to help successfully transition African American male graduates into the workplace. Her most recent work is the creation of the iL.E.A.D ( i, Learn, Earn, Accelerate, and Demonstrate) Leadership Program created for Collegiate Student and Professional Athletes. The University of Alabama was one of the first universities to implement the program with their players and coaches, as well as, the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.
Additionally, Dr. Evans is the co-founder of ROC (Reaching Our Children) Schools of Excellence where she volunteered and taught leadership development to children. She was one of the 12 Women recognized in Lee County for her community involvement in the advancement of under privileged children. Dr. Evans has worked with over 200 children working with them to accelerate development of their soft skills such as problem solving, effective communication, relationship building and critical thinking.
Although Dr. Evans has a long successful career in academia and corporate America, her passion is helping individuals better understand their thinking and behavioral attributes in order to enhance their professional and personal growth through a deeper understanding of self.
