Dr. Chenavis Evans, Ph.D. is the CEO and Owner of Critical Insights Consulting, LLC. In 2006, she was recognized as one of Auburn University’s distinguished Alumni. Dr. Evans holds four Degrees from Auburn University: Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Organizational Psychology as well as a Master of Science. A Masters of Education in Counseling and Counseling Psychology, specialization in in College Student Development and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology. During her academic career, she was also an adjunct faculty where she taught quantitative methods and worked closely with students at a local community college in remedial English and math in preparation for college.
Dr. Evans has over 25 years in leadership development, executive coaching, organizational re-engineering and strategy in corporate America, both domestically and internationally (Sanya, China; Sal Palo, Brazil; Nicossia, Italy; York, England; Cyprus; Mexico; South Africa, etc.). Her work includes the creation of multiple end-to-end business models to help transform the organization in one of the world’s largest fortune payment processing companies; therefore, becoming professionally recognized as a Change Agent. She was instrumental in the design and development of several Fortune 500 companies’ leadership institutes, talent management (assessment and development) programs and diversity and inclusion programs as well as performance management business models.
During her tenure at TSYS, Dr. Evans established TSYS’ First Distinguished Professorship in partnership with Auburn University’s College of Engineering in data mining – behavioral modeling. In addition, she partnered with Morehouse College’s Human Centered Computing Lab to establish a business model to help successfully transition African American male graduates into the workplace.
Her work at Critical Insights includes the creation of the iL.E.A.D (i Learn, Earn, Accelerate, and Demonstrate) Leadership Program, which was developed for collegiate student-athletes and professional athletes. The University of Alabama was one of the first universities to implement the program with their football players and coaches, as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. She has most recently focused on creating and implementing several community programs that were developed in partnership with the city of Opelika, the Opelika Police Department and the Opelika School System; these programs are Knowledge is Power, Policing and Me and The Mind Matters.
Additionally, Dr. Evans co-founded ROC (Reaching Our Children) Schools of Excellence, where she volunteered and taught leadership development to children. She was one of 12 women recognized in Lee County for her community involvement in the advancement of under privileged children. Dr. Evans has worked with over 200 children to accelerate development of their soft skills such as problem solving, effective communication, relationship building and critical thinking. Although Dr. Evans has a long successful career in academia and corporate America, her passion is helping individuals better understand their thinking and behavioral attributes in order to enhance their professional and personal growth through a deeper understanding of self.
Dr. Kinnis Gosha has a doctorate from Clemson University in Human-Centered Computing and a Masters in Computer Science with a concentration on databases. With over 27 peer-reviewed research publications, he is well respected among colleagues for his scholarly works. A former Alabama high school football standout, Gosha remains very close to the game as a devoted fan and fantasy football guru – even integrating fantasy football into the computer science curriculum in the Database Systems course that he teaches every year at Morehouse.
Dr. Gosha is an assistant professor in the Morehouse College Department of Computer Science.
There he also serves as the academic program director for software engineering and the director
of the Culturally Relevant Computing Lab. He has over 10 years of professional web application
development experience including online stores, corporate websites, personal websites,
restaurant websites, higher education websites and blogs. At Critical Insights, Dr. Gosha is
responsible for the creation of data modelling systems, data mining, big data analysis and
business intelligence.
With his uncanny ability to think outside the box and take complex situations and simplify them, AuBrey Lewis is responsible for the strategic direction of Critical Insights Consulting. AuBrey has a Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama State University in recreational therapy. A former high school and collegiate football player, AuBrey remains passionate about the sport, which is evident by the work he has done with both collegiate and professional football programs.
AuBrey is Six Sigma – Green Belt, and PMP certified, and has over 10 years of project
management, business process engineering, and consulting experience in the industry and
corporate America. As part of the Business Intelligence Data Mining team, he works closely with corporate executives responsible for data collection and analysis for strategic level data across
the enterprise to assess the health and wellness of the organization.
Ms. Rebecca Johnson serves as the Implementation Director and has worked for Critical Insights Consulting, LLC since 2017. She spearheads the execution of new projects and programs ensuring adherence to established strategy guidelines. She leverages her public service experience in state and municipal government by planning practical operational procedures with tangible resources to ensure that support is cross-functionally developed for our successful deployment strategies. Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Jacksonville State University in Criminal Justice.
During her career in the public sector, she developed programs and policies for community corrections operations; shaped workplace policies and procedures; adopted evidence-based practices to increase staff competencies and employee well-being; and constructed positive workplace cultures. She worked in the public sector for almost 20 years, dedicating her professional career to building and leading teams that helped non-violent offenders become productive citizens in their communities. In her tenure as a law enforcement official (public servant), she gained insight with government regulations, corporate social responsibility, environmental and social governance, and public-private partnerships. Rebecca understands the field of leadership in public, private and non-profit sectors, and she works to advance the established mission to achieve constructive organizational change.
